What are you gonna do?

As our newest network/​security engineer, you will immerse yourself in all kinds of fun. The most important thing? Bringing a good dose of responsibility and zest to take on following tasks:

  • You set up complete network infrastructures and make sure they are well maintained.
  • You define the necessary network policies and designs — and make sure they are implemented perfectly.
  • You are responsible for the reliability, security and continuity of the network environment.
  • You actively participate in renewal projects and ensure optimisation where necessary.
  • In case of high level incidents, you will provide the necessary solutions.

Personality is a lot, but not everything. Therefore, we also expect you to be proficient in the following skills.

  • You have Cisco certificates.
  • LAN/WAN/WLAN/SDWAN aren’t a problem for you.
  • You know Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto.
  • You can work with F5 Load Balancing.
  • You can set up firewalls effortlessly.
  • You know how routers and switches work.
  • You know how to work with DNS and DHCP.
  • You know better than anyone how TCP and IP are connected.
  • Guaranteeing VPN connections is no problem for you.
  • You can effortlessly conjure up Wifi and wireless solutions.
  • You are familiar with the virtualisation of networks.
  • You can work with VOIP solutions.
  • You have previous experience in large IT environments.
  • You have previous experience in setting up network infrastructures.
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English — and a decent knowledge of French.
