Who are we looking for?

Well, a System Admin, that is. And, ideally… that would be you! At least, if you can find yourself in the following description:

  • You can work independently and don’t mind this: after all, you will sometimes be alone at a location.
  • You are flexible: you will often have to move to different locations — and you find these adjustments a piece of cake.
  • You are easy-going and communicative: after all, you come into contact with a lot of people.
  • You are stress resistant: you will be working in fast-paced environments where you have to keep up with the pace.

Let’s talk about skills

To take on the above issues smoothly, we expect you to have the following skills in your pocket:

  • You already came into contact with setting up and/​or managing servers (Linux or Windows)
  • You have already written scripts in Powershell, Bash, or others
  • You have good knowledge as Administrator of Office365, Azure, Exchange, Sharepoint, …
  • You were already responsible for Identity Management, group policies, user management on Administrator level
  • You can work with deployment tools such as SCCM and Altiris
  • You already carried out several projects independently (migrations, extensions, lifecycle management, …)
  • You know the basic network infrastructure (CCNA, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, routers, switches, …)
  • You are familiar with virtualization (VMWare, HyperV, …)
  • You have a driver’s license
  • You have a good knowledge of English & Dutch, and you can get by in French

What are you going to do?

As a System Administrator, your job description consists of five different components:

  • You are responsible for resolving deeper 2nd/​3rd line tickets and managing the environment
  • In addition, you will provide server management (monitoring, performance tuning, installation, configuration)
  • The larger user account management (account security, group policies, MFA, …) is part of your responsibilities, and global user account management
  • Patch management for both infrastructure and software is also an important element of your duties
  • And finally, it is also your job to participate in the maintenance of documentation in the knowledge environment and collaborate on projects with other teams
